How does it feel to return to Australia?
"Feels pretty good man, feels pretty special. I think, you know, the schedule is hectic sometimes, so it's not easy to, you know, wrap your head around what's coming up. It doesn't feel real until you're there, but dude, every time I landed Sydney, you know, you kind of get a view of the harbour, sometimes you get a glimpse of the harbour bridge, and that's, yeah, it felt pretty real and it feels pretty special" - Kyle Fletcher
You're fanbase is incredibly passionate and are incredibly creative, what are your thoughts on them describing them as Fletchlights?
"It's awesome, I love it, it's so cool. I just think it's ridiculous that grown men call themselves Fletch Lights, it makes me so very happy." - Kyle Fletcher
Last time you held this (TNT Championship) it had no customisation, could we maybe see a bit of pink or even a bit of green & gold this time around?
"My lips are sealed, no hints" - Kyle Fletcher
As he heavily winked at the camera to then debut a Pink TNT Championship after AEW Grand Slam Australia
Does it add more fuel to the fire, being home, or is it more pressure defending the TNT Championship at AEW Grand Slam Australia?
"A bit of both, I'd say. Yeah, there's obviously the fun side of it, the fun side of the fact that, you know, I get to be home, my family and friends get to be in the audience, but it is, it's big stakes, it's TNT Championship on the line, I just won it 24 hours ago, I'm not ready to lose it anytime soon. Especially not in front of my family and friends, that'd be embarrassing as hell. So it's a big one, yeah, there's a lot of pressure. I am, you know, I want to come out with that big dub, I want to be the one at the end of this rivalry that says I'm the best, you know." - Kyle Fletcher
At Full Gear 2025, Mark Briscoe & yourself didn't shy away from using weapons over that TNT Championship, could wee some Australian themed weapons introduced during the Ladder Match at AEW Grand Slam Australia?
"It's an interesting point because, you know, in wrestling you see the steel chairs, you see all this stuff, but in Australia you can't get the same steel chairs, you've got to get those bunning ones that have the padded seats. So, you know, there might be logistical issues, maybe the ladders are from bunnings down the road, you never know. So, we shall see." - Kyle Fletcher
Grab one of those bunnings hats while you're at it?
"Dude - give me a sausage sizzle in the meantime, sign me up". - Kyle Fletcher
Instead of thumbtacks, hands full of bindis, just, that's going to confuse the world!
"It totally will, they'll be wondering what's going on - Why has he got grass, what?" - Kyle Fletcher
There hasn't been an Australian man to win a world title, could we see "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher become a double champion & dethrone MJF?
"I've not shied away from this question. I absolutely know that sooner or later that AEW World Championship will be in my possession. I have no doubt about that. Look, my priority right now is becoming the greatest TNT champion of all time. We have Andrade, part of the family, wrestling for a shot at the AEW World Championship at Revolution tomorrow. So look, right now, it doesn't look like it's on the cards. Hopefully Andrade is the one to take that title away from MJF. But I, like I said, sooner or later, it's coming home." - Kyle Fletcher
"First Australian Men's World Champion will be Kyle Fletcher" - Kyle Fletcher

Could see the return of Aussie Open anytime soon?
"That is a good question - We're both in the family, myself and Mark.
We have had some interaction as part of the family. I think Davis and Doyle is a fantastic tag team. I think those two guys together is such a, dude, they are destructive together. It is so cool. But myself and Mark Davis, we have a lot of history, traveled the world together, genuinely best friends. So I would love to, at some point, reunite, we both have our things going on at the moment, but I have no doubt somewhere down the line it'll happen." - Kyle Fletcher
Could we see you come back to Australia at some point to defend the TNT Championship in other promotions in Australia?
"I would not be opposed to it whatsoever" - Kyle Fletcher
Any prospects/potential match ups that you would like to see?
"Robbie Eagles, I've had one singles match with him for New Japan Tamashi, but I think the only other singles match I had with him was in Wollongong in 2016, I want to say. So I would love to get back in there with my very first professional wrestling trainer. That would be a cool one." - Kyle Fletcher
"But there's so many people on that PWA roster that I would love to mix it up with nowadays that are coming through, you know. Tuckman, solo PWA. I love the Tuckman. Absolutely love the Tuckman. Scott Green as well. Bonza, another one that was there for me all the way through my early days" - Kyle Fletcher
If you were to describe AEW to someone who watches professional wrestling but might not be up to date with the promotion, what would best describe AEW?
"I would say passion is the one word I would use because everybody in this company is so passionate about it. They're so passionate about professional wrestling and making this company into the best thing it can possibly be. And I think that raw emotion that we all have, that raw love that we have for this sport, it comes through. I think every time I watch other matches, every time I'm in the arena and I get to watch something else going on, I'm just, I'm a fan again. And that is such a cool feeling for me. And then the fact that I get to be a part of it, I get to be one of the spokespeople for it. It's super special. And I just want as many people to experience that energy as physically possible." - Kyle Fletcher
